Section 29(1) of the Railway Safety Act 2005 requires that the RSC adopt and submit to the Minister for Transport a statement of strategy within 6 months of the establishment day. The current Statement of Strategy of the Railway Safety Commission identifies the strategic direction of the Commission 2009-2011.
